T, Forest here. I think the immage stands on its own, even for someone who doesn't know the man in black. Because I do, it has more meaning for me. The tunnel, as a space of dark metaphore, with Omnullus emerging from it, is descriptive of his charicter and philosophy, and the way in which he brings that philosophy to those who are not wiling to experience its origines. This is symbolized by his motion (and the determination in his walk), and by the bag he is carrying. it is important that, though he is in the light, he is only a silouet--making him intrinsically one with the space he emerges from. The buildings, I think, help the metaphore of Om. bringing these ides to others, because without them, there would be no connection to humanity, and only to nature, or the train tracks. I'm not sure what role the train tracks play in this idea; except that he was in this space without the protection the train symbolises (and this is the only way others experience this space). A problem with the image is that this metaphore becomes weak when you realize that the photographer was in the dark space too; but if you respect the photograph as an illustration of this idea, and not as journolistic proof of it, i think that is fine. the ice adds to Om's strength as someone who is willing to experience what other's are not.

Yo, nice to see you around these parts. it gets kind of desolite around here for me. I appreciate your comments; they are the sort of thing I joined this art community for. The tracks to me are a loaded symbol of travel/motion, and, in this case with his deliberate step, forward motion. The light is a destination, in my eyes a greater life/direction or world, and the darkness and silouet brings mystery and depth to the character --- who in this case is actually not OmNullus, but another good friend of mine named zack keenan). The glistening ice adds to the excitement, and I imagin the buildings reinforce the strength of this future destination.

Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing it subjectively. That there is no such thing as death and life is just a dream. Here's Tom with the weather.
